Skills in post-anesthesia care, pain assessment, and various medical protocols are necessary. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Candidates must be aware of credentialing processes and health compliance measures. Professional references are required, including at least one from a leadership position. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
