Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse

Overview

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool. The role involves floating to various pediatric units, including PICU, NICU, MedSurg, PACU, Pediatric Emergency Department boarders, and Postpartum/Mother Baby. Candidates must have experience working in PICU and NICU settings and be comfortable providing care for pediatric patients.

Job Details

• Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• Time off approval available; no requests can be made during the first two weeks of the assignment

Qualifications

• Two years of PICU experience required
• Peds PACU experience highly preferred
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (can submit with it pending)
• Epic experience required
• Must adhere to the float policy
• Virginia nursing license can be submitted with pending status
