Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Float Pool

Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses to join our ICU Float Pool team. This position requires flexibility and the ability to provide high-quality care in various intensive care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a high-acuity environment, including NICU, TICU, PICU, and CICU.
• Float between intensive care units as needed and may also be required to cover general care areas if ICU needs are met.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:2, ensuring optimal care is maintained.
• Utilize servo ventilators effectively and collaborate with Rapid Response Teams within the ICUs.
• Administer and monitor IV medications and infusions, including vasopressors and critical care drips.

Position Requirements

• Available to work either Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotations based on staffing needs.
• ASAP start date required.
• Level I trauma facility experience is mandatory.
• Active Georgia or compact RN license is required.
• BLS and PALS certifications must be current.
• Every other weekend availability is required.

Clinical Experience

• Experience with servo ventilators and ICU protocols.
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient care and critical thinking skills in emergency situations.

Schedule

This position requires 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, specifically during daytime hours.
