Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients aged birth to 21 years.
• Utilize and manage respiratory therapy equipment including nasal cannula and ventilators.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses using Medfusion syringe pumps and Baxter IV pumps.
• Document patient information and update care plans to ensure effective communication among care team members.
• Float to various inpatient care areas as needed, excluding ED, OR, or inpatient psychiatric units.
• Handle rotating shift schedules to ensure continuous coverage and patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Colorado RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU setting; 3 years preferred if no previous travel roles.
• Proficient in managing Trilogy & Drager ventilators and Codman ICP monitors.
• Strong knowledge of chronic childhood disease management and surgical patient care.
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS; ACLS preferred.
• Experience preferred in teaching facility PICU settings with travel background.
