Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the PICU from birth to 21 years old.
  • Administer treatments using ventilators, BiPap/CPap, and manage chronic diseases and other critical conditions.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care plans.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of medical equipment such as ventilators and pumps.
  • Fulfill float requirements to support various inpatient care areas as needed.
  • Adhere to scheduling requirements, including nights and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Current Colorado RN license required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a comparable PICU environment.
  • Proficient with Trilogy & Drager ventilators, Codman ICP monitors, and Medfusion syringe pumps.
  • Current certifications in BLS and PALS required, ACLS preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes 1 year in a teaching facility PICU and 2+ years as staff experience.
