# Join Our Dynamic Team as a Travel RN - PICU! ## Job Description - **Location:** 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 - **Unit Name:** Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) - **Shift:** 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM - **Cost Center:** 64012 ### Why We're Exciting: - **Recognition:** - Named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for clinical quality (2020-2023) - Achieved an “A” Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade - Awarded Magnet® Designation for nursing excellence - **Unit Specifics:** - 9 Beds in PICU with a Patient Ratio of 1 RN to 1-2 patients - Stepdown Ratio: 1 RN to 2-3 patients - Documentation System: Cerner - **Supportive Team:** - Unit secretaries and tech availability: HUC works 9 AM - 9 PM; Tech shared with PICU - Self-scheduling for work-life balance - **Advanced Care Equipment:** - Utilize Alaris pumps - Provide care involving IV starts, central line dressing changes, ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and more! ### Qualifications: - **Experience:** 1 year PICU experience required - **Certifications:** PALS certification mandatory - **Floating Policy:** Will float to Peds and NICU as needed ### Dress Code: - Scrub color: Navy blue or white (all navy, all white, or navy pants and white tops) ### Join Us: Be part of the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas.
