Emergency Room Pediatric (ER PEDS) in the region is seeking a qualified healthcare professional for a travel assignment. This position involves providing pediatric emergency care in a dynamic hospital environment. The role requires working night shifts and contributing to a team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient services.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Active Iowa (IA) license or multistate compact license, Pediatric / Pediatric Emergency Room experience within the previous 24 months, Pediatric / Pediatric Emergency Room skills specific to the discipline, American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications, minimum of 2 years of experience, drivers license.
- Preferred Qualifications: Performance evaluation or reference from within 24 months.
- Responsibilities: Provide pediatric emergency care across various specialties, potentially float across neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), and general pediatric floors, maintaining hospital standards and protocols.
- Certifications: TNCC, BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA).
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates should be ready for rapid interviews via phone call or text from a 405 area code, with a preference for sooner start dates.
- Additional Information: Pediatric experience within the past 24 months and pediatric emergency room experience within the last 15 months are required. Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC) within 12 months is necessary. No first-time travelers; candidates must have completed at least one travel assignment within the last 18 months.
