Position Overview

Seeking a specialized Pediatric CVICU Registered Nurse for a flexible multi-site travel role across major Phoenix-area pediatric facilities. This position requires floating between NICU and PICU settings to deliver high-acuity, family-centered pediatric critical care following evidence-based practice and hospital regulatory standards.

Key Details

  • Shifts: 12-Hour Shifts (07:00–19:00 or 19:00–07:00; shift confirmed during interview)
  • Time Off: Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed and approved during the interview phase
  • Floating Scope: Float required between NICU and PICU departments
  • Work Locations: Multi-site floating across Phoenix, Glendale, Avondale, and Gilbert, AZ

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of dedicated pediatric CVICU RN experience
    • Demonstrated floating experience between NICU and PICU units
    • Level III or Level IV NICU hospital experience strongly preferred
    • Children's hospital background preferred
  • Education: ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing
  • Licensure: Active Arizona RN License or Compact/Multistate RN License
  • Certifications:
    • AHA BLS (Required)
    • AHA PALS (Required)
    • NRP (Strongly Preferred)
