Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics CVICU for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.

Pediatric CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift Information

Available shifts include days and nights: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 0 years of experience; less than 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Current RN license in Arizona or a multistate compact license with the ability to establish licensure in Arizona.
  • Current certifications in BLS for Healthcare Providers and PALS from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred certifications: NRP.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in pediatric CVICU is required (2 years preferred).
  • Experience in a Level III or IV NICU is strongly preferred.
  • Experience floating between NICU and PICU is beneficial.
  • Children's hospital experience is preferred.

Education Requirements

  • Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four-year (BSN) degree in nursing, or a Diploma in Nursing.

Responsibilities

This position involves collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote patient health by delivering professional nursing care tailored to the patient's age and condition. Care will be provided in accordance with evidence-based practices, nursing standards, and institutional goals and regulatory requirements.

Additional Information

Assignments may require floating between multiple locations within the region. Shift selection will be decided during the interview process. Only the requested time off discussed in the interview will be pre-approved.

Vaccination Requirements

COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination is mandatory from October through April, with exemption applications needing pre-approval prior to the start date.

Holiday Coverage

Holiday coverage is not required.
