The role involves providing specialized inpatient care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient safety.
Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour days, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, four days or less of total time off only
- Required Qualifications: BSN, BLS certification, 2+ years of pediatric experience, preferably in an inpatient pediatric academic medical center, high-flow nasal cannula experience, chest tube management, licensed in the state of assignment, minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Heated High Flow Nasal cannula management of bronchiolitis, experience with GI and endocrine disorders, bariatric/nutritional restoration, infections including sepsis, minimal surgical post-op or procedure care, some chest tube patients, long-term behavioral health patients
- Float: Float rotation may be required, including units such as NICU, and additional campuses within a 35-mile radius
- Requirements: Must be available to work two of the three specified holidays, RTO blackout dates apply, and must be available to work specified holiday shifts.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to work in acute care units, NICU, and across multiple campuses, with flexibility to reassign within clinical competency as needed. Time off of up to 7 days may be reviewed, with no RTO approved during the first two weeks of the assignment. Medical and religious exemptions to the seasonal influenza vaccine are permitted.
