Description

Job Opportunity – Pediatric PACU Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 8/10/12 hour shifts with flexibility. Shift times include 7:00pm-7:30am or 11:00pm-7:30am. Monday-Friday OR Sunday through Thursday schedule available with no on-call requirement. Contract length 13-17 weeks.

Highlights:

  • Work in a comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical center with nationally recognized specialists
  • Care for a varied caseload including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults across multiple specialties
  • Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility
  • 24 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding
  • Support from interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
  • Magnet-designated facility featuring Level One Pediatric Trauma Center capabilities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of pediatric PACU experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required (pending WI license accepted at time of submission)
  • BLS and PALS certifications (AHA ONLY)
  • Previous travel experience required
  • Charge experience preferred
  • Level I Trauma Center experience required
  • Must successfully pass telemetry examination prior to start date (strict passing criteria applies)
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
  • Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
