  • Position Description: RN - Pediatric Oncology at a healthcare facility; start date: October 5, 2026.
  • Required Qualifications: 18 months of experience in an acute and chronic care setting or solid oncology experience; current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications; APHON Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Status; flu vaccination (no exemptions).
  • Specialty: Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Attentive to all cancer diagnoses; responsible for administering chemotherapy, blood products, and supportive therapies; assessing patient conditions, managing side effects, and providing emotional support. The inpatient HemOnc unit includes a 16-bed area with a nurse-to-patient ratio generally of 3:1, and fluctuates during med/surg cases. There is a charge RN and team lead RN available for assistance, and nursing care partners provide additional support.
