Description: This seasonal travel RN position focuses on pediatric care in a step-down unit. The unit has 36 private rooms with accommodations for parents. The team consists of approximately 60 staff members, including charge nurses and patient care technicians. Patient ratios are typically 1:3 for step-down patients and 1:4 for basic care patients. Equipment used includes Phillips monitors, and the EMR system is Meditech. Common procedures performed on the unit include nasogastric tubes, Foley catheters, and intravenous access. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be a team player. Flexibility in scheduling is emphasized, ensuring travelers feel valued alongside full-time employees. Candidates with several years of travel experience will be prioritized for this role. Availability for every other weekend is required.
