    Registered Nurse – PICU

    Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
    • Float to additional units as needed, including NICU, CV PICU, ED, Stepdown, and Med/Surg; must be willing and able to comply with facility float expectations
    • Deliver safe, age-appropriate nursing care with assignments adjusted to match competency in float areas
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support critically ill pediatric patients
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Ohio State RN license or Compact RN license — must be in hand prior to start
    • Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience; first-time travelers with closer to 3 years of PICU experience may be considered
    • Recent Level 1 facility experience required
    • 2 supervisory references required at time of submission; at least one reference must hold a manager or supervisor title
    • Must not have worked permanently at this facility within the past 2 years
    • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience floating across multiple pediatric or critical care units
    • Familiarity with high-acuity pediatric patient populations including cardiovascular and neonatal cases
    • Travel nursing experience in a comparable Level 1 setting
