    Registered Nurse – PICU

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
    • Float to additional units as needed, including NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical/surgical, with appropriate assignments provided in each area
    • Comply with facility float expectations and adapt to varying patient care environments
    • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with unit protocols and standards
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Ohio State RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience (first-time travelers considered with closer to 3 years of experience)
    • Recent Level 1 facility experience required
    • Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility (no local candidates)
    • Must not have worked permanently at this facility within the last 2 years
    • 2 supervisory references required at time of submission, with at least one reference holding a manager or supervisor title
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience floating across multiple pediatric or critical care units
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a PICU or related critical care specialty
