You'll work alongside experienced staff in a Level II trauma center environment that supports the only children's hospital in the region, making a meaningful impact on children and families throughout Western North Carolina. Comprehensive case mix including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, ICP monitoring, trach care, and central line management.

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule: 6-week rotating schedule requiring 3 weekends; self-scheduling available

• Cerner electronic medical record system with Alaris pump technology
• Float opportunities to Pediatrics and NICU for skill development and variety
• Supportive unit environment with dedicated unit secretary (9am-9pm) and shared technician support

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts, catheterization, central line care, and critical care procedures
