Job Description: - **Location:** Asheville, NC - **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM - **Unit Name:** Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) - **Number of Beds:** 9 - **Patient Ratios:** - PICU: 1 RN to 1-2 patients - Stepdown: 1 RN to 2-3 patients - **Unit Staffing Description:** - Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) available from 9 AM to 9 PM - Tech shared with PICU - **Document System:** Cerner - **Scheduling Requirements:** Must work 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule - **Floating Policy:** May float to Pediatrics (Peds) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - **Required Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in PICU - **Required Certification:** PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - **Dress Code:** All Navy, all white, or Navy pants with white tops ## Unit Specifics: - **Equipment Used:** Alaris pumps - **Procedures Performed:** - IV starts - Caths - Holding for lumbar punctures (LPs) - Central line dressing changes - Hemodynamic monitoring - Trach care - Tube feeding and placement - ICP monitoring - Ventilator management ## Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
