Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN – Texas

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with self-scheduling flexibility. Shifts may be worked consecutively or split throughout the week. Weekend rotation required on a variable basis. No on-call required.

- May float to Pediatric Med/Surg and NICU units based on facility needs

Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of PICU nursing experience required
- Current BLS and PALS certifications
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with 1:2 patient ratios preferred
- Proficiency in critical pediatric skills including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP management, central line care, continuous sedation, chest tube management, and management of dysrhythmias
- Competency with pediatric patient populations including neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
- Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
- Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
