**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic team in a specialized Burn ICU/PCU unit.
- Work in a state-of-the-art facility with a strong emphasis on patient care.
- Number of Beds: 6
- Patient Ratios: Varies on Acuity, Adult only
- Team Composition: Charge Nurse, RNs, Nurse Externs, Paramedics
**Unit Features:**
- Advanced Equipment: Alaris IV Pumps, Hill-Rom beds, GE Cardiac monitoring
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling: 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week period
- Floating Policy: Float to like units (ICU/PCU/CCU)
**Essential Qualifications:**
- ICU or PCU background preferred; burn experience an asset
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIH, ABLS preferred
- Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and drip titration
- Experience with ICU/PCU level of care and cardiac rhythm monitoring
**Procedures Performed:**
- Debridement and dressing changes
- Line insertions and chest tube maintenance
- Post-op procedural care
**Dress Code:**
- Navy blue scrub top
- Navy blue or black scrub pants
- No T-shirts, hoodies, or sweatshirts allowed
**Unit Guidelines:**
- Mixed acuity levels
- Patients stay in unit from admit to discharge regardless of level of care
