**Exciting Opportunity for an RN Charge Nurse in a Dynamic Clinical Decision Unit!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a fast-paced, innovative team in our Clinical Decision Unit!
- **Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- **Unit Details:**
- 40 bed capacity with a focus on ED decompression and enhanced throughput
- Patient Ratios: 1:5 Step-Down / 1:6 MedSurg
- Documentation through Cerner
- Friendly, collaborative environment with a positive team spirit
- **Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage admitted patients from the ED
- Conduct Admission Assessments and Medication Reconciliation
- Initiate acute care orders to improve patient flow
- Float to other units as needed within your skill set
- May oversee 1-2 CNAs, helping create a seamless care experience
- **Requirements:**
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in MedSurg, Telemetry (remote), or Step-Down (PCU)
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
- Charge Nurse experience or willingness to take on the role
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- **Dress Code:**
- Required uniform: Navy Blue/White or a combination; appropriate jackets/sweaters permitted
