**Exciting Opportunity for Staff RN in Surgical Med/Surg / PCU - FT - Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Staff RN
- **Shift:** 7pm - 7:30am
- **Experience Required:** Minimum of 1 year preferred
- **Certifications:**
- PALS
- BLS/BCLS
- ACLS
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process.
- Supervise and provide direction to co-workers while delegating appropriate tasks.
- Deliver quality care based on patient assessments and established plans.
- Educate patients and their families/significant others from admission to discharge.
- Maintain thorough, concise, accurate, and legible documentation of the nursing process.
- Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
- Implement physician orders as written.
- Ensure equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care and report malfunctions promptly.

**Job Requirements:**
- **Education:** Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
- **Licensure/Certification:** Valid Ohio RN license; CPR certification required.
- **Skills:** Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
**Physical Requirements:**
- **Capacity:** Heavy work, requiring exerting 50 to 100 pounds occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently, and 10 to 20 pounds constantly.
- Must manage urgent situations calmly and communicate empathetically with patients.
