- **Role:** Registered Nurse (RN)
- **Specialty:** Cardiac and Stepdown
- **Shifts:** 12-hour shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
- **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 per week
- **Weekend Commitment:** Every Other Weekend
- **Call Requirements:** Only if census is low
- **Unit Information:**
- **Number of Beds:** 36
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:5-6 for cardiac patients, 1:3-4 for PCU/stepdown populations
- **Telemetry Monitoring:** Yes

- **Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- **Must-Have Skills/Experience:**
- Experience with cardiac patient populations
- Proficient in managing chest tubes and cardiac monitoring
- Experience with cardiac drips and stepdown care
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Background in PCU/Stepdown populations
- Low-level ICU skills
- **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:**
- Chest pain, pre and post-open heart surgery care, pacemaker management, and neurological events like stroke/TIA
