Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in an Intermediate Care (IMC) setting. The successful candidate will work in both Acute Med/Progressive Care and Thoracic units, providing high-quality care to patients during evening and night shifts.

Shift Details

  • Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
  • Days: Monday through Friday
  • Every other weekend and some holidays required

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct nursing care to patients with oncology, cardiac, and progressive care needs.
  • Monitoring telemetry and responding to patient needs efficiently.
  • Assisting with ventilator management and transplant care.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or a compact RN license required.
  • Telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and IMC/Stepdown unit experience is mandatory.
  • Ventilator and transplant experience is essential.
  • Current BLS & ACLS certifications from AHA required.
  • Traveler is required to pass a telemetry test before starting.
