Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will work in both the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and the IMC Thoracic unit, providing exceptional care to patients in telemetry oncology, cardiac, and progressive care settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, including monitoring telemetry, administering medications, and performing assessments.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Manage patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring ventilation support and transplant care.
  • Participate in patient and family education to promote understanding of health conditions and treatment plans.
  • Adhere to established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

  • Valid Wisconsin RN license and compact RN license required.
  • Experience in telemetry, oncology, cardiac care, and progressive care essential.
  • Ventilator management and transplant experience necessary.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA required.
  • Ability to pass a telemetry competency test prior to employment commencement.

Work Schedule

Full-time positions available with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday, including every other weekend and occasional holiday shifts.
