Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our critical care float pool. This position involves working in various Intensive Care Units (ICUs) and Intermediate Care Units while providing high-quality patient care in diverse settings.

Shift Details

• Night shifts: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
• Every other weekend and some holidays required
• Alternative schedule: 4x12 hours available for interested travelers

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in multiple ICU units, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced nursing techniques and equipment to assist in patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only).
• Experience in multiple ICU settings is highly preferred.
• Successful completion of a Telemetry test is required prior to clearance for start.
