Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Experience in a progressive care unit (PCU), step-down, intermediate care, or IMCU setting preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care and hospital environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a progressive care unit / step-down unit setting
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient status and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes clearly and thoroughly
• Support individualized care plans focused on quality outcomes and patient safety
• Maintain a calm, compassionate presence while delivering excellent bedside nursing care
