Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of PCU nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong skills in IV medication titration and progressive care nursing
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment with mixed-acuity patients
• Ability to float within scope of practice as needed
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients and related inpatient populations
• Care for patients with respiratory compromise, sepsis, renal failure, CHF, COPD, pneumonia, and other medical-surgical conditions
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately
• Administer and titrate IV medications based on patient needs and provider orders
• Support patient transfers throughout the hospital as part of an ACLS transport role
• Float to other units within scope and provide support where needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Deliver compassionate education and support to patients and families
