Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stepdown Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care.

Shifts

  • Night shift: 3-12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patients’ conditions regularly, providing timely interventions as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.
  • Document patient progress accurately and promptly in medical records.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 18 months of experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing.
  • Active Ohio nursing license or an active compact state nursing license.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
