Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to provide patient care, with the potential to float within the same discipline across local campuses. The role includes delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population and adhering to hospital protocols and standards.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/01/2026 and ending 01/31/2027
  • Required Qualifications: Valid licenses in Illinois or Iowa, at least 1 year of previous stepdown experience, work history/resume, skills checklist completed within 1 year, license verification, and copies of required certifications (BLS and ACLS from AHA). Must have a drivers license and references, including one supervisory reference, at the time of submission.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience highly recommended.
  • Additional Information: This unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:7. The high volume of open travel positions is needed to address staffing ratios. The position allows for local candidates from Madison, Sioux City, Bettendorf, Fort Dodge, Moline, Muscatine, and Rock Island areas.

  • On-Call: No on-call required
