Position / Specialty: MS- 7th Floor Intermediate MUST PASS TELE RHYTHM IDENTIFICATION QUIZ *It is required that all nurses, including travelers, are proficient in reading, identifying and reacting to cardiac rhythms. These floors are true cardiac floors and not understanding rhythms can be detrimental to a patient's health*Shift: DAYS (0700-1930)Weekend Req: Every other weekend Ratios: 1:4 Years of experience REQ: 1 yr (Preferred 2 years) First-timers accepted: YesCerts REQ: ACLS , BCLS, NIH Locals accepted: No, must live outside 50 milesPending License accepted: Yes, must be active prior to start date Special Requirements: Must have telemetry and cardiac/stroke experience. Some cardiac drip experience is requiredSee a variety of drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone and Lasix for examplesHave beds able to do hemodialysis (HD done by outside company) so we do see renal patientsAll modes of oxygenation other than vents. Special Equipment : Rescue nurse available to assist for bedside procedures (TEE, cardioversion-not TN)*********************Required to be proficient at reading, identifying and reacting to cardiac rhythms. This floor is a true cardiac floors and not understanding rhythms can be detrimental to a patient's health.********************* #Tier2 Travel Compliance Active state license must be pending at submission, or the candidate must be willing to participate in the Aya Licensure Project. LOCAL Rule: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
