• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,160

• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Unit Focus: Acute leukemia and hematology patients
• Schedule Notes: Day and night rotating coverage; weekends may vary based on unit needs
• Orientation: 72 hours
• Float: May float to other MedSurg Oncology units

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
• At least 1 year of progressive care unit (PCU) experience required
• Current acute care experience preferred and must be recent and consistent
• Valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Strong clinical background in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, blood product administration, and central/PICC line care
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled progressive care nursing to acute leukemia and hematology patients
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to support timely clinical decision-making
• Administer blood products, IV antibiotics, electrolytes, and other ordered therapies
• Maintain and manage peripheral, PICC, and central lines with accuracy and confidence
• Support patient safety through infection prevention and fall prevention best practices
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and collaborate with rapid response resources as needed
• Document care accurately in Epic and communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Contribute to a supportive unit culture focused on quality outcomes for complex adult and geriatric patients
