• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,160
• Scheduling: Day and night rotation based on unit needs
• Weekend Coverage: Variable based on unit needs
• Floating: May float to other MedSurg Oncology units
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 72 hours

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of overall acute care nursing experience
• At least 1 year of PCU or Progressive Care Unit experience required
• Current acute care experience required, with consistent experience within the last 12 months
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Must have nursing education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program
• Ability to provide 2 professional references, including 1 from a manager, director, or formal supervisor
• Flu vaccine required unless a medical exemption applies

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a PCU setting
• Support patients with acute leukemia and hematology-related needs
• Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Administer blood products, IV therapies, antibiotics, and electrolytes per plan of care
• Maintain strong infection prevention practices and patient fall prevention measures
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, peripheral access, and IV maintenance
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including rapid response resources
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting safe and efficient unit flow
