Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a fast-paced acute care environment. Nurses in this role will be responsible for providing exceptional care to adult patients facing a variety of acute medical conditions. The patient population may include those with cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, pulmonary issues, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate direct patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Monitor patient conditions and administer medication as prescribed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Meditech charting system.

Schedule

Full-time night shifts are available, consisting of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. Nurses are required to work every other Saturday, with Sundays off.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.

Patient Ratios

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.

Parking

Parking is provided free of charge in any unrestricted space.
