Job Summary
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) located in a short-term acute care facility, specializing in cardiac care. This role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients, managing cardiac drips, and titrating medications within a dynamic clinical setting. The position requires adaptability to float between units and adherence to facility protocols.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of clinical experience, and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac telemetry, managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, and working in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Additional responsibilities: Willingness to float between units, manage cardiac monitoring and drips, and respond to emergency situations using established protocols.
- Schedule details: Night shifts, 12 hours each, with every other weekend coverage.
- Submission requirements: Candidates must include responses to specific questions regarding prior employment at a Providence facility, provide two references covering one year (six months for CNAs) within the last three years, and be prepared to work holidays as required.
