Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cardiac monitoring and the management of dysrhythmias, ensuring high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PCU setting.
  • Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage patient conditions effectively.
  • Administer and titrate intravenous medications as prescribed.
  • Perform peripheral line care and management, including PICC line management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess and plan patient care.
  • Float to various locations as needed to meet patient care requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers encouraged to apply.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH required.
  • Experience in cardiac telemetry and the management of dysrhythmias is essential.
  • Strong skill set in patient care within a PCU setting, with a ratio of 1:5.
  • Ability to float between multiple locations as required.

Schedule

This position involves a 3x12 hour shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including weekend and holiday rotations.
