Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac telemetry and experience in managing and interpreting dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a PCU setting.
  • Manage and interpret dysrhythmias effectively.
  • Administer peripheral line care and management, including PICC line management.
  • Titrate intravenous drips as per protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to established nursing ratios (1:5).
  • Float between various units as required.

Schedule

The position involves working 3x12 hour shifts during the night from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role also requires participation in weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers welcome.
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH required.
  • Experience in cardiac telemetry is a must.
  • Ability to manage and interpret dysrhythmias.
  • Experience with peripheral line care, management, and PICC line management.
  • Capability to titrate intravenous drips effectively.
