• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 0645 to 1915
• Hours per Week: 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Call: No call required
• Float: May float to other acute care units as needed
• Charting/Equipment: Meditech, Pyxis, BiPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent hospital acute care experience within the last year
• Progressive care, step-down, or telemetry RN experience preferred
• Active Hawaii RN license required by the start date
• ACLS preferred
• PALS preferred
• NIHSS preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced progressive care environment
• Must be available to arrive on time for required pre-start onboarding

Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care for progressive care and step-down patients
• Monitor telemetry and interpret strips to support timely clinical decision-making
• Perform fingerstick blood sugar checks and other routine bedside nursing tasks
• Assess patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Document accurately in Meditech and manage medications using Pyxis
• Support safe, compassionate care for cardiac and telemetry patients
• Float to medical, surgical/peds, ICU, or ER units when needed
