Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nursing position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care for individuals with various cardiac and medical conditions. Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa nursing license; 24 months of current telemetry, cardiac, stepdown, or progressive care experience; experience with rhythm disturbances, heart failure, MI, CCL recovery, MS overflow; proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system; cardiac drip/titration experience; BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association; experience with implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD) and pacemakers; Level I or Level II trauma experience preferred or required; valid drivers license; professional references within the past 24 months.

  • Additional Information: The position involves floating across all campuses, including Iowa Methodist, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Orientation is scheduled for 10/12/2026. The candidate must work 1-2 of the upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed. This role is accepting first-time travelers who have completed at least 12 months of Med/Tele, Cardiac/Tele, or PCU experience.
