Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in the hospital setting. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards, utilizing the nursing process to ensure high-quality patient outcomes during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: - Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing. - Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC). - One (1) year of nursing experience.

• Additional Information: - Demonstrates competence in care of patients with complex problems, including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety aspects of care. - Performs bedside point of care testing as required. - Utilizes healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures in delivery of care. - Collaborates with patients, families, and multidisciplinary resources to develop and implement effective care plans. - Prioritizes tasks for patients with complex needs and anticipates discharge requirements. - Participates in performance improvement activities and promotes a safe hospital environment.
