Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a day shift position. This role involves performing independent nursing functions, assessing patient health, and providing supportive and restorative care to facilitate recovery after anesthesia procedures. The position requires delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and certification as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
• Responsibilities include performing health assessments, delivering health teaching and counseling, planning therapy and treatment, delegating tasks, documenting care in accordance with regulatory guidelines, and referring patients for further evaluation or treatment.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need.
• Additional clinical duties may include executing delegated medical functions, monitoring therapy plans, and providing patient referrals.
