Job Summary:
PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health teaching and counseling to support patient recovery.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Skills & Experience: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, 1 year of nursing experience required, BLS - American Heart Association, (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service) preferred.
• Responsibilities include: Performing health assessments, nursing care, health teaching, counseling, therapy, and treatment planning. Providing supportive and restorative therapy directly or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching. Executing delegated medical functions, referring patients for further evaluation, reviewing therapy and treatment plans, documenting in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines, and utilizing available resources.
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, based on business needs. May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
