Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various surgical specialties and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Details

  • Shifts: Day 4x10-Hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00.
  • Weekends: No scheduled weekends, but weekend call is required (currently 1 in 4).
  • Holidays: Required as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
  • Assist with a variety of surgical procedures including General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotic Surgery, Orthopedics, and Gynecology.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain a sterile and safe environment for all surgical procedures.
  • Monitor patient status and respond to any changes during the perioperative phase.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required - American Heart Association only.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience required.
  • Experience in various surgical specialties including General Surgery, Cataracts, Robotic Surgery, Orthopedics, and Gynecology is preferred.
