OR RN Traveler

Position Overview

The OR RN Traveler position offers flexible day and evening rotational shifts with variable hours, weekends, and on-call responsibilities. The role includes a commitment to work two weeks of night shifts as part of the contract.

Shifts Available

  • 4x10 Schedule:
    • Evenings: 1 PM - 11 PM
    • Days: 7 AM - 5:30 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) / 9 AM - 7:30 PM (Wednesday)
  • 3x12 Schedule:
    • Evenings: 11 AM - 11 PM
    • Days: 7 AM - 7:30 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) / 9 AM - 9:30 PM (Wednesday)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures.
  • Adhere to best practices and protocols for patient care.
  • Participate in weekend shifts as needed, which will involve 12-hour shifts during the assigned weeks.
  • Fulfill the requirement of at least two short calls within each 4-week schedule.

Qualifications

  • Active nursing license and certification required.
  • Experience in an operating room setting is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to varying schedules and patient needs.

Contract Details

This position includes rotating weekend shifts and a commitment to two weeks of night shifts during the contract duration.
