Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Location: Not specified. This role involves providing circulating and scrubbing duties for operative procedures within the healthcare facility. The position requires adherences to aseptic techniques, preparation of the operating room, and coordination with team members to ensure patient safety and surgical efficiency.

Job Details

• Position Description: Responsible for circulating and/or scrubbing duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite; maintaining standards of aseptic technique; coordinating intraoperative patient care plans; serving as a communication liaison to patients, families, and team members; preparing the operating room, assembling equipment, ensuring functionality, and availability of supplies/implants.
• Certifications and Education: Must have current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN highly desired; PALS, BLS, and ACLS required.
• Experience: Operating Room experience required; minimum of 3 years of OR experience required.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must live at least 100 miles away, with availability to cover Monday through Friday daytime shifts, on-call trauma coverage, and holiday call shifts including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Trauma experience is required.
