Candidates with at least five years of experience and experience in level 1 trauma centers and academic medical centers are preferred. The role encompasses a variety of surgical specialties, requiring a versatile and well-rounded OR nurse.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid nursing license, at least five years of OR experience, with prior experience in level 1 trauma centers and academic medical centers.
  • Schedule: Evening shifts, from 11:00 am to 9:30 pm, totaling 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Position Responsibilities: Scrub and circulate duties, supporting multiple service lines including orthopedics, neuro, plastics/burn, general trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gynecology, urology, robotics, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant. Off-shift applicants should be capable of working across all service lines, including pediatrics and ophthalmology.
  • Additional Information: Applicants should have experience working in high-volume, complex surgical environments and be adaptable to float across different hospital departments.
