Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position requires a minimum of four years of operating room experience, with expertise in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic procedures.

Unit Details

The Operating Room serves a variety of surgical service lines, including:

• Bariatrics
• Urology
• Neurology
• ENT
• Oral
• Plastics
• Transplant
• Ophthalmology
• General Surgery
• GYN
• Orthopedics

Shift Details

This position offers a 4x10-hour day shift from 07:00 to 17:00. Weekend work will be variable and discussed during the interview process.

On-Call and Floating Requirements

On-call duties may be required and will be discussed during the interview. Nurses may float within the facility, adhering to their scope of practice, and may also assist in outpatient settings as necessary.

Qualifications

• A minimum of four years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic nursing.
• Candidates with less than four years of experience will not be considered.

Compliance and Orientation

Full compliance with all requirements is necessary for timely onboarding. If compliance is not met, there may be a two-week delay due to orientation scheduling. Orientation hours will vary based on the contract length.

Availability & Time Off

Requested time off (RTO) is limited to a maximum of seven days. No holiday RTO will be approved during blackout periods, specifically from November 23 to November 29 and December 21 to January 3.
