  • Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
  • Type: Travel nursing assignment

  • Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Shift Duration: 10-hour days
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
  • Charting System: Meditech
  • Weekend/Call: Rotating weekend call approximately every four weeks; call may include 2, 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts

Job Requirements

  • Active Idaho RN license at the time of submission
  • 3+ years of operating room nursing experience
  • Trauma nursing experience required
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and participate in call coverage
  • BLS certification required
  • CNOR certification preferred
  • Burn, robotic, or neuro OR experience preferred
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a team-oriented approach
  • Open, outgoing, and forward-thinking personality suited to a fast-paced surgical services setting

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
  • Assist with a broad range of surgical procedures, including general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, neuro, ENT, gynecology, urology, robotics, plastics, ophthalmology, burn, dental, GI, and open heart cases
  • Support trauma coverage during off-hours and contribute to call response as assigned
  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, CSTs, and the perioperative team to maintain efficient room flow
  • Deliver patient-centered care while following AORN standards and unit guidelines
  • Demonstrate flexibility, sound clinical judgment, and strong communication skills in a high-acuity surgical environment
  • Help ensure smooth transitions across cases and support the team in meeting daily surgical needs
