Job Requirements

• Active Idaho RN license at the time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Trauma experience required
• Ability to work shifts and take call as needed
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Burn, robotic, or neuro experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills and a team-oriented approach
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient perioperative and intraoperative nursing care in a busy surgical environment
• Support a wide range of surgical cases, including general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, neuro, robotics, gynecology, ENT, urology, ophthalmology, and more
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical technologists, and the OR team to maintain smooth case flow
• Respond to trauma coverage needs during off-hours and weekends as assigned
• Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with AORN standards and unit policies
• Adapt to changing surgical volume and help support evening, night, and weekend coverage when needed
• Use strong communication and clinical judgment to support positive patient outcomes
