Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room / GI

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | 5x8-hour shifts, Days (11:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | On-call required | Holidays required as needed | Blocked scheduling is not available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the Operating Room and GI setting, including circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes
- Scrub for a variety of surgical specialties including GI, Robotics, General Surgery, Thoracic, GYN, Orthopedics, Urology, and Plastics
- Float to other units as needed per facility requirements
- Participate in on-call rotation and holiday coverage as required
- Utilize facility EMR system (Cerner) to document patient care accurately
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Pennsylvania (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of GI experience required
- Demonstrated experience in circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes in a GI setting
- Ability to scrub for multiple surgical specialties including Robotics, Thoracic, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, and Plastics
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume OR environment with diverse surgical specialties
- Comfort with on-call responsibilities and flexible scheduling demands
- Prior travel nursing experience in an OR or GI setting
