    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room / GI (8hr Days)

    Location

    Scranton, PA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 5x8-hour shifts, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required | Holidays required as needed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room and GI setting, including circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes
    • Scrub for a variety of surgical specialties including GI, Robotics, General Surgery, Thoracic, GYN, Orthopedics, Urology, and Plastics
    • Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the department
    • Float to other units as needed per facility requirements
    • Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements as assigned
    • Utilize the facility EMR system (Cerner) for accurate and timely documentation
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in the state of Pennsylvania (or compact license eligibility)
    • Minimum of 2 years of GI nursing experience required
    • Demonstrated experience in circulating, scrubbing, and cleaning of scopes
    • Ability to scrub for multiple surgical specialties including GI, Robotics, General Surgery, Thoracic, GYN, Orthopedics, Urology, and Plastics
    • Ability to meet floating requirements as needed
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-volume OR/GI environment with a large inpatient facility (150+ bed unit)
    • Familiarity with Cerner EMR
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a perioperative or surgical setting
